CD-Roms
Essex Libraries have responded to advances in multi-media publishing by providing collections of CD ROMs in some of the larger libraries.
Subjects include such diverse interests as language learning, driving skills, and astronomy, and there are lots for children too.
If your local library does not have a collection for browsing you can request titles through the ELAN system for a small charge.
